MGIT celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th June 2023 with various activities and events. The importance of restoring the natural ecosystems and biodiversity was focused. The day started with a pledge taking ceremony, where 500 students and staff vowed to protect and conserve the environment. A nature walk was organized, where the participants explored and learned about their roles in the conservation of ecosystem. The day also witnessed the conduct of competitions in literary activities like: essay writing, poetry recitation and debate on topics related to environmental issues and solutions. It was a great opportunity to spread awareness and inspire action for a greener and healthier planet.
